Hello Heather and Paul,
Just a quick note to send you some pictures of the pup! He is doing very well, and loves the sound of his own bark...like a baby who has just discovered his voice! I think it is just a bit of frustration, so we are walking him twice a day and scheduling more play time, works most of the time. He and the cat are getting along good for the most part, he likes the cat more than she likes him. We socialized him this last weekend with a friend of ours that has an 11 month old Yorkie, it was interesting to say the least. I think they were happy to find someone with the same amount of energy they had, they were playing for a good few hours and he slept like a doll!
Thank you so much for this wonderful blessing, he is a superb addition to our family!
Take care,
Dina, Rich and Kristen

Augustus (Gus) is the best dog ever.We love him and couldn't be happier with him. He's a happy, well adjusted affectionate dog who loves being social. We're convinced the biggest reason he loves people and being with them is because of how you raise the baby puppies. Well, I had him at the U today for a walk and took a picture of him. This is our Gus. He's just everything we wanted in a companion dog - friendly, happy to be with us, playful, smart.
When we're ready for another Aussie, we'll be back.

Hi Paul:
Harley is getting so big - he just turned 8 months! He is now bigger than Jake. He is a great puppy and gets along with Jake really well. He wants everything that Jake has. Harley’s favorite thing is still the blue blanket we had in the car when we brought him home (you rubbed the blanket over his family before we left). He carries it everywhere with him. I attached a picture with him and his blanket. He is obsessed with catching balls and Frisbees. Can’t get enough of it.
Saw your website today - so many cute puppies!!!

Hello!
How's everyone and how was your holiday? I hope everyone is doing fine. We are doing great and Apollo is enjoying his new home. My grandma calls him, "The Destroyer" and my Mom Calls him, "spazz." He has already learned to sit and knows to drink from the spigot water dispenser a long with a few other commands.
Thanks and Happy New Year, Matthew, Patti, and Apollo

Gosh, it's been ages since we wrote but seems like time just flies. Missy is doing absolutely great. She's is so loving, loyal, playful, smart, trainable, etc. we don't even know where to begin. She's pretty good on walking on a leash but is less "excitable" if she's off the lease. Doesn't run too far ahead of you when we take her for walks on the property...she's afraid we'll "slip away from her" and she won't find us! Typical velcro Aussie. She sits, stays (even if you go 200 - 300 ft. from her and walk around the corner of a building!!!), shakes, knows the names of her toys and what to find when we tell her to get something. We're working with her on catching a frisbee and balls and she catches things about 75% of the time. She'll jump through a hula-hoop and thinks she's really special! Also, she's very friendly "submissive" with other dogs and really wants them to play with her. She rarely barks, much less growls. She did bark and growl at me once when I came out of the computer room wearing a stuffed toy on my head...threatening enough so that I took it off my head and address her as "Missy baby" so she knew it was me. Would hate to be a burglar with her around! As with all others who own Aussies, we've discovered that we really SHOULD have gotten her sister when we picked her up and are now suffering withdrawals from not having 2 of them. Hello Paul and Heather,
We just wanted to say Hi and send you a few pictures of Peggy, AKA Kitty. She has really been a wonderful pup and has been since we picked her up in early December. Her level on intelligence and agility are remarkable! Just a fantastic addition to our family.

Hi - Hope all is well. It's hard to believe Katie is almost 5 months old, and that we have had her for almost 3 months. She was recently spade and micro chipped, so she is finished visiting the vet for awhile.
Katie is a wonderful Aussie, and she really enjoys Molly (our almost 10 year old Aussie). Katie also loves people including everyone that lives in her house. Katie loves to go on walks, and socialize with other dogs and people. She also loves riding in cars taking her boys to school each morning. And we found out she loves water and loves to swim and play fetch when there is water involved.
Katie is having fun in Bakersfield and this spring she will be attending "puppy kindergarten" (dog obedience) and a trip to Santa Barbara to play in the surf and sand.
Enjoy the pictures........ The Taylor's

The puppy is great. She's becoming a beautiful girl and she's so smart. She learned how to sit, shake and lay down the first week that we had her. Recently we've had a trainer come into our home for one on one sessions and just this past Monday we took her to an obedience class with other dogs for a "Beginners class". Commands such as "Sit. Stay. Heal. Heal front...."were no problem with this same trainer. She's so full of puppy energy, Scott takes her for runs on his blades up and down our long driveway to wear her out. She so fits in our family.......Thanks

Hi Grandma
I'm sorry I am just now writng you. Attached is my 3 month old picture. I was too young to write you before, but I am learning words now and even though I can't spell my new mommy agreed to write this letter for me.
I have a new big, big sister, her name is roxy. She is a 103lb rottweiller/mastiff mix. Grandma, she loves me to death. She let's me win when we play. She let's me climb all over her, and bite her ears.
When she goes in her igloo I know that play time is over. I'll send you a picture of us.
Even though I have a big backyard to play in, my mommy takes me out for daily walks. I am getting use to the halti she makes me wear so I don't pull her. Everyone in the neighborhood thinks I am so cute.
Well that's all I wanted to tell you. Please tell my mom & dad, and aunts & uncles I said hi.
Love you Grandma
Signed
Miss Peaches
P.s Heather I just want you to know that Miss Peaches is in great hands. She is the most adorable puppy I have ever had. She's very smart, and learns very fast. I believe she will do great with agility training or herding. Roxy and I love her very much. She has regular visit at the vet and up to date on her shots. She's over 20lbs. Thank you so much for trusting her in my care.
Hi Grandma
I am looking more and more like my mommy. You can't really tell from this picture by I have blond highlights on my ears. As you know blonds really do have more fun. Yes I am a stinker. I get into everything. I even stole my mommys meatloaf off the counter the other day.
Hope everyone is well.

Here's the latest pictures of the growing boy! He's doing great. He loves to fetch his toys, run back at full speed, and hop into our laps... at 25 pounds its quite a wallop.
He's healthy and happy and very, very smart. Headstrong, but not out of control. He respects our leadership role, but still loves to test his boundaries. We know his personality so well now that simple corrections are usually all it takes. He is very good with visitors and strangers. Traveling in the car is no problem as well.
We've taken him in the pool several times. He sits on the first step and enjoys being cooled off. Oh, and he loves jumping at the June bugs at night... in fact, he loves eating bugs.
He's got one more set of vaccines next week and then, hopefully, we're free to take him out in public and into puppy classes and neighborhood walks.
Hope all is well with you... say hi to Paul.
Regards,
Michael and Janet

hi heather! went crazy with the camera yesterday and thought i'd send you some new pics. my 12 year old luke thinks that he is a puppy. the whole time they are playing they are barking at each other! and look at my curly, he wants nothing to do with the little troublemaker!!! freddy has had a few stand offs with the kitty, i think he just wants her to play, till she makes that stupid noise that cats make, then he just walks away. he is very independent, and often goes off on his own to explore. we are on 1/2 acre also, so that there are a lot of different places to go. when he gets sleepy, he just plops down wherever. but at night, he spoons with his old buddy luke.....so very cute! he is very very smart too.... already understands when i tell him no. then he just turns over for me to rub his belly. he chases the tennis ball and brings it back too! good good puppy! having a ball with him! needless to say, mom and dad really want to have him soon... but i think that he is learning so very much from the big dogs, and i don't want him to be alone so soon. I can tell he is going to be a great dog and companion for them. and i can't take freddy out of his name!!!! ha! see you soon! hope all is well! m

Hello Heather and Paul,
I just wanted to write you an email to let you know that Sierra, now Soma, is doing very well with us. She's adjusted very well to the family. My 12 year old Aussie is getting used to her, and has become more spunky, which is good. She continues to "learn" from my 11 year old cat. Haha. But, I'm sure they will get used to each other soon enough. It's all part of learning.
Soma is the sweetest girl. She's headstrong but also wants to please and always loves to snuggle. She's learning so quickily and getting big very fast! We go for lots of walks and I can't tell you how many people have stopped me to tell me how beautiful she is, and I don't think I have to tell you that she just loves the attention :)
I just love her. She's wonderful!
Thank you so much for providing such wonderful, loving Aussies!!
I'll send more pictures as she continues to grow.
All my best,
Heather and Jim

Hi there Paul,
Koda and the family are living up here on Monterey Bay now. My husband took a job up here over the summer. I'm just now getting caught up on the last six months of pictures on the camera. Thought you'd like to see this majestic picture of Koda on the beach at the Embassy Suites Mandalay Bay Hotel before we left.
He's a great dog. Wonderful pet. And he talks to us all the time!
More soon!
Take care.

Hello there!
I am sending you some more photos of our "baby." She has grown so much already! She is such a joy...and what a little dare devil! She doesn't seem to be afraid of anything...not sure if that's good or bad!
Thanks to both of you again for giving us the opportunity to meet and take home Dakota. She is great. Keep in touch!

Hi Heather,
Cissy and Maddy are doing excellent as far as we are concerned. Sit, stay, walk on leash (the leash still needs improvement :-) ), doggie door, no problem and they are pretty much making it thru the night without having to go out. If they do have to go out they let you know softly at first and then quite insistently.
They are both such loving little puppies. However they won't be little for much longer. Cissy weighed in at 18.8lbs. and Maddy at 16.6lbs. just last Fri. at the vets. Maddy is still a little smaller than Cissy but she makes up for it in exuberance (polite way of saying "Wild Child").
Sending some pics, Cissy is still hanging on to her one half blue eye, and about the only pics of Maddy are her sleeping, can't seem to get a pic of her standing still unless she is asleep. :-)
Take care,
Kathy and Karl

Just checked online to see you have your hands full with all beautiful new puppies! I don't know how you do it - each and everyone are sooo cute - it has to be so hard to see them go. But want you to know, our puppy is doing great. Maddie has learned to "sit" for a treat, and can (when she wants to) bring back a toy when thrown for her. She'd rather take away Levi's toy, but they both kinda like that game anyway. She's all potty trained and uses the doggie door like a champ. I have tried on numerous occasions to take pictures of them together, but the minute I get the camera ready they've already moved. So next time I'm home during the day I'm going to try a video to show you how they play. It keeps us quite entertained!
I'm so glad Sage got a home, as I was quite tempted to get her too (which is why I kept checking the internet site). But now I have 14 new ones to make "wishes" for!
Good luck with your new kids, and take lots of naps! Julie Dorcy

hello there! its been 3 weeks she goes to the Vet today for two shots...
let me tell so far, she's been amazing!!! She knows sit/stay/stand/roll over/spin she loves to fetch the ball, and when I get her out with the right dogs you can see the natural herding instinct in her...
its kind of funny to watch.
still working on the house training, only 3 accidents in 3 weeks isn't bad....
thanks, and don't be surprised if you get calls from NYC,,...

Hi Heather, just wanted to send you some new pictures of Dallas. He is doing very well, 20 lbs now. He's having a lot of fun with our other 2 dogs. He's a tornado!
Enjoy!

Hi Heather and Paul,
Hope all is well with you guys and your family!
Skyler is 10 months old... and 63 pounds... yikes! We took him to a herding class in Malibu and these are some of the photos from his Instinct Test. In the words of the judge, he "ace'd the test"! He went right to work, flanking both directions and keeping his sheep together. He showed a lot of natural talent and ability. It was awesome to watch our puppy have so much fun. He didn't want to leave the ring! Alaska and Vivi would have been very proud.
All the best,
Michael and Janet
A Life that Honors God is a Life that God Honors
Hi Heather,
Just took some new photos today and wanted to send you some. Pearl weighs close to 30 lbs already and Captain is right behind her! We just had our 4th set of shots and they are still continuing classes with a dog trainer. They are doing very well and have the run of the house now and have navigated the two dog doors to get outside. Mike actually had some passerby argue with him that they couldn't be Aussies because they were too big! We just got their registration papers as well, Arriola's Pearl of the Sea and Arriola's Spicy Captain Morgan. I know it won't matter much since we will be neutering them soon but like you said, it keeps records of the lines. Anyway, hope you and the dogs are well.
Take care,
Mike Arriola and Gina Sulmeyer
